Booking a fishing trip in Montana can be daunting. Our goal is to make your trip as enjoyable and seamless as possible. No question or concern is too small, so don’t hesitate to pick up the phone or send us an email at any time. We can help with any aspect of planning your trip.
What is included in our trips:
Transportation to and from the river. Your guide will communicate with you prior to your trip to make a plan on when and where you would like to meet.
All fishing gear: Your guide will have rods, reels, and appropriate tackle for a successful day on the river. If you would like to bring your own gear that is great. We recommend 5 and 6 weight rods.
Shore lunches and non-alcoholic beverages.
What IS Not included in our trips:
Valid Montana fishing license. This can be purchased at any fly shop or online.
Gratuities for your guide. A normal tip is around $150. If you think your guide went the extra mile, tip him a little more…it is always greatly appreciated.

Trip Insurance
I strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance. It provides peace of mind knowing that your investment is protected in the event of unexpected changes such as illness, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Trip insurance allows you to book with confidence, ensuring you’re covered if plans need to change outside of your control. Travel Guard is a great option.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.

FAQ’s
What is included in the cost of the trip?
We are an all-inclusive outfitter. There are no hidden fees. In a full day trip we provide all the flies, tackle and equipment you’ll need. Lunch and transportation are also included in your cost. A fishing license and gratuity for your guide are the only additional costs to you.
What should I bring on my trip?
Rain Jacket, extra layer, sun screen, polarized glasses, hat and of course a camera. If fishing in the spring or fall it is important to have warmer layers. If you want to bring your own rod and reel, a 5 or 6 weight rod with a floating line is ideal.
Where can I get my Montana Fishing License?
You can purchase your fishing license online before your trip Here.
How do I make sure I have a great day on the water?
The best way to ensure a great day on the water is to communicate with your guide before your trip starts. Please let your guide know your experience level, your fishing preferences and your goals for the day. Also be sure to let your guide know if you need to be off the water at a certain time so he can plan the distance of your float accordingly.
Where and when should I meet my guide in the morning?
Your guide will either pick you up where you are staying or we will arrange a location near the river to meet. Start times depend on the time of year but if you would like to start at a particular time or be off the water at a particular time please communicate with us before the day starts.
What is proper gratuity for my guide?
$150 dollars per day is an average tip. Our guides work very hard to ensure you have an excellent experience on the river.
